Relevant legislation

Article 34 of French Law n°78-17 of January 6, 1978 on computerised records and civil rights guarantees the user the right to access, modify or correct any personal data which may have been collected through the use of the site. No personal information collected through the submission of computerised forms will be sold or otherwise communicated to third parties for marketing purposes.
Users are reminded that electronic communication media placed at their disposal may not carry indiscriminately any type of message. The French Penal Code (Article 227-24) prohibits the dissemination of violent, hateful or pornographic material, or of any material liable to cause harm to human dignity.
Similarly, the French Penal Code (Article 323-1 and following) prohibits any interference with the operation of electronic communications, which means in this case the deliberate disruption or alteration of the material appearing on the Internet site of the Aquarium des Lagons.

Concerning cookies

A “cookie” is a small item of software that an Internet site may place within the user’s computer when the site is visited. A cookie cannot be used to identify you. Generally, it records information concerning the manner in which the user browsed the site (which pages were read, on what date, at what time, etc.), and such record may be read by the site during subsequent visits by the same user.
