Turtles at the Aquarium

Marine turtles are fascinating animals, but are threatened with extinction. From the beginning, the Aquarium has been taking in and nursing ailing turtles, and displaying them to the public. Over the years, they have become one of the Aquarium's major emblematic species.

To help support these programmes, you may join us as a volunteer, of participate financially by "adopting" a baby turtle or becoming one of the sponsors of our future turtle enclosure.

In the Aquarium, you will be able to observe loggerhead turtles and green turtles.

Every Saturday at 2:30 pm, the Aquarium puts on a special turtle show: there, you will discover their specificities, and the hazards that threaten them with extinction. You will learn what you can do to help protect them.
